Detailed Refund Policy
1. Refund Eligibility
You may be eligible for a full refund if your purchased service meets any of the following criteria:
Eligible for Refund
- • Service was not delivered within agreed timeframe
- • Service delivered was significantly different from description
- • Seller became unresponsive after payment
- • Technical issues prevented service delivery
- • Service quality was substantially below reasonable expectations
Not Eligible for Refund
- • Changed mind after service completion
- • Dissatisfaction with spiritual guidance or predictions
- • Buyer's remorse after receiving the service
- • Request for refund after 30 days without valid reason
- • Disputes over subjective aspects of spiritual services
2. How to Request a Refund
There are several ways to request a refund:
- Automatic Request: Use the "Request Refund" button in your order history
- Message Seller: Contact the seller directly through our messaging system
- Contact Support: Email support@meilovia.com with your order details
3. Seller Refund Process
When a refund is requested, here's what happens:
- Seller receives immediate notification
- Seller has 48-72 hours to respond
- Seller can provide refund directly through Stripe
- If seller doesn't respond, our support team intervenes
- Refunds are processed to your original payment method
Important: Seller Responsibility
Sellers are responsible for providing refunds for undelivered services. Meilovia facilitates the refund process through Stripe, but sellers bear the financial responsibility. Sellers are also responsible for any negative balances on their Stripe Connect accounts resulting from refunds, chargebacks, or other payment issues.
4. Dispute Resolution
If you and the seller cannot reach an agreement:
- Our support team will review the case
- We'll examine order details, communications, and evidence
- We may request additional information from both parties
- Final decisions are made based on our Terms of Service
- Decisions are typically made within 5-7 business days
5. Platform Limitations
Important Notice
Meilovia is a marketplace platform that facilitates transactions between buyers and sellers. While we provide tools and support for refund processing, we are not financially responsible for refunds. Refunds come from sellers through the Stripe payment system.
6. Timeframes
- Refund Request Window: 30 days from purchase
- Seller Response Time: 48-72 hours
- Stripe Processing: 5-10 business days to appear in your account
- Dispute Resolution: 5-7 business days
7. Special Circumstances
Partial Refunds: In some cases, partial refunds may be appropriate if part of a service was delivered.
Store Credit: Sellers may offer store credit or service corrections as alternatives to refunds.
Rush Orders: Services marked as "rush" or "urgent" may have different refund terms disclosed at purchase.
8. Chargeback Protection
We monitor for fraudulent chargebacks and may take action against buyers who abuse the refund system. Please use our refund process rather than filing chargebacks with your bank, as this helps maintain fair pricing for all users.
